And from Saturday, March 12th, will go on sale the tickets for the single concerts.
Cremona, March 2nd, 2016 – From Saturday, March 5th, season tickets for the four concerts of CremonaJazz 2016 will be available at two points of sale, both in Cremona: Teatro Amilcare Ponchielli and Museo del Violino ticket office. The festival will bring in Cremona the big names of jazz music from April 16th to May 24th, in the amazing setting of the Arvedi Auditorium. Great musicians, great shows: don’t miss the change to be there, hurry to get the tickets!
CremonaJazz is organized by Unomedia Company and enjoys the patronage of the Comune and the Province of Cremona. Its main partner is Metalloinvest, the partners are Willis and Air Liquide. It has been created with the support ofMdV friends and the cooperation of Local and Technical Partners like Locanda Torriani, Carulli, Cremona Hotels, Chiave di Bacco and other important business enterprises in the territory.
The ticket offices were you can physically purchase the tickets are two, both in Cremona: Teatro Ponchielli (Phone. 0372 022001 / 0372 022002 Mon-Sat: 10:30 – 13:30 / 16:30 –19:30) and Museo del Violino (Phone. 0372/080809 Tue – Sun: 10.00 – 18.00). The price for the season ticket for the four dates is 100 euro. There are also reductions for under 20, over 65 and for the members of Piacenza Jazz Club: for them the season ticket is just 65 euro. The tickets for the single concerts will go on sale from next week, March 12th, at the price of 30 euro and 20 euro for the reduced ones. For those of you not happening to be in Cremona, you’ll be able to purchase the tickets online on www.vivaticket.it.
The opening, Saturday April 16, is a première “For Turiya”, exclusive for CremonaJazz, a new project by the Ravi Coltrane, playing along with Brandee Younger (harp) and Dezron Douglas (bass). It will be followed, on Thursday, April 28th by an increasingly tight-knit duo of excellent musicians: Paolo Fresu e Uri Cane. Sunday, May 8, will be the turn of Take 6, a cappella sextet of a great personality, spacing from gospel to jazz music. The festival closes Tuesday, May 24th, with Richard Galliano playing along with Philip Catherine (guitar), Philippe Aerts (double bass) and Hans Van Oosterhout (drums) with New Musette, homage to the accordion and its infinite musical shades. To enrich this appealing program of concerts there will be also AperiJazz events, taking place at the bar and restaurant of the Museo del Violino, Chiave di Bacco, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. before each concert. While tasting a nice glass of wine and some typical Italian food, you will enjoy some good live music, preparing the mood for the concerts. CremonaJazz is a festival for the big public, linking the great jazz music with the town of Cremona, targeting to strengthen its prominence among cultural and artistical events.
